I cannot be bothered to go look back at the stats but I remember not so long ago this forum up in arms over xG and lack of goals and shit defence and all the rest, and then suddenly it clicked again and we were at or near the top in all the positive stats.
Now we are right back there again. Us fans need to give Arteta a bit more trust, he cares about this club as much as we all do and he will be more worried about the current situation than any fan is - the only difference is that he will be doing something to try to correct it.
Finally, the points are a bit misleading, things have not gone our way and luck has not been on our side, but if they had, we could easily have seen a scenario with 2 extra points at Brighton, Citeh, Pool and Chavski, or even just one or two of those and then the table would be very different.
I haven’t seen anything that leads me to believe Arteta is not the right man for the job or that he cannot lead us back to glory
I could certainly believe he was in the thrall of the Mysterons after seeing that team lineup.
Much more like it gaffer. Handbrake off.
Great utilisation of the squad as well.
We have no choice but to do that till January.
Fourth season running where our set pieces are key for us, and even more impressive, we actually look even better every year.
Truly elite work from our coaching stuff.
Go away Fabrizio, the times are good. I don’t want to see your rancid face.
That is good because wasn’t there talk of him heading off to Norwich or someone like that in the summer?
I honestly dont think we have improved overall. Always wonder a bit how it would have gone if we signed a proper attacking midfielder in stead of Havertz.
Needs to find more of a plan B as @Darkseid said.
Sometimes it works doing the like for like subs and you get the late goal but often if a tactic isn’t working then putting a new LW for the old LW isn’t gonna win you the game.
Shuffle the deck, take a risk otherwise you don’t win titles.
Very disappointed with him atm.
I think it was a mistake to move Timber from left back. I do understand why he did and probably doesn’t want an MLS-Kiwior left-side, but the Timber change took away from our ability to attack down the right side.
His attacking setup SUCKS
Questions have to be asked if he can’t change it
What would of playing Lewis-Skelly have changed based on what we saw today.
Why is it when we struggle these Hale-End freaks come out to play.
The way Slot and Maresca have their sides playing whilst City are down is a very bad look for Arteta
