Is it not the first Monday and last Monday any more?
Have they done it on a Friday?
(This is for England, obviously)
It’s a Friday this year for some celebration.
We get Bank Holidays in Scotland aswell y’know

Yeah I can’t remember why they changed it but it works out well for a Stag Do I’m going on in Lisbon

They changed it to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

Where I work uses English bank holidays so I couldn’t tell you and I actually get bank holidays off in this one so I’m buzzing for them this year

Yeah, apparently the bank holiday was also moved in 1995 for the 50th anniversary.
