Manchester United

According to Evra, Fergie asked the board for 200m to bring those two and they told him no.

Even if we believe Glazers would turn down Ferguson. Would Madrid have really sold Ronaldo around that time?

Hmmm doubt doubt doubt.

I can’t even point to an example to back this up, but Evra has always given me the vibe of being a massive bullshitter.

And he gives me the vibe he’s a moron.

Anyone remember that video when he passionately kissing a raw chicken? He may have taken a bite out of it too.

Edit:

State of the guy. Risking salmonella for Instagram views.

Why don’t foxes get Salmonella?

You made me google it.
Why don’t animals other than humans get sick from uncooked food? | New Scientist.

Animals, particularly wild ones, have digestive systems that are adapted to handle raw and uncooked foods, which are their natural diet . Their stomach acidity is usually higher, enabling them to break down raw meat, bones and other tough materials more efficiently, as well as killing harmful bacteria.

I guess their micribiome is different and is one such that campylobacter and salmonella don’t take as much of a hole in their digestive tracts

Couldn’t read the rest but I’m sure it said something like because animals don’t have opposable thumbs they can’t work the cooker controls, so they have developed a natural immunity against raw meat

I watched and then listened to a podcast recently by a Japanese chef and the whole chicken sashimi thing.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s fucking rank but something to do with the very strict rules surrounding the production and conditions of these special chicken make them acceptable to use for sashimi.

A discussion about animal digestive system in Man United’s thread.

Seems about appropriate under the recent circumstances.

I had raw beef sushi in Japan but think I’d draw the line at chicken sashimi tbh, no matter how safe :partey:

about 20 years ago I had a trip to Japan with my gf (now wife) and got into an old traditional Japanese restaurant (only a few tables). Later we found out that there was no English on the menu and the old servers did not know English either. It was quite impolite to just leave so we randomly ordered some dishes.
There was one dish that even after all these years we still don’t have a clue what it was.
It looked like raw chicken, but also looked like Albacore…
We hesitated but still ate it due to respect.

I agree. Cancelled a reservation in Osaka because the yakitori was going to be medium rare.

I don’t care what you say bro about chickens quality and this and that.
