Manchester United

Have to be on the pitch to be clattered though no?

I didn’t know that. Lol.

Why was he playing against Reading at OT?
Same for Rashford and other key players.

It’s silly.

Desperate for a trophy?

He’s a footballer. It’s what they do.

Well, he should be worried if he can’t beat Reading at OT without a full strength side(barring Maguire and Lindelof)

He’s been doing it all season. It backfired before the WC with the fixture congestion, it’ll backfire again soon.

He was being overplayed and that is obvious tbh

This is exactly the definition of desperation to win something.

He was kicked in a bad challenge. That’s why he’s out injured.
He could of been rested and got injured next game.
You can say he’s been over played if you want but at the moment it’s working out for them mostly this season.

It doesn’t matter how he got the injury the fact is he was playing every three days like he’s 21, considering how important he is to the team he should have been getting rotated more.

You play there is more chance of injury and that’s the point

It clearly does make a difference how he got the injury.
If it was a muscle or hamstring injury your argument is valid.
It’s not on this one. The likelihood of fatigue is another argument.

Should have stayed at Brentford

He got a contact injury in a game that he could have been easily rested in

Like I said the nature of the injury is irrelevant

I don’t agree. There’s no reason why he shouldn’t play.
Could easily have been a case of looking at resting him midweek against Forest being 3 up for all we know.

The reason is he’s been playing a lot of football

With the way ten Hag is playing that team they will likely drop off physically or break down which @Powderfinger has alluded to recently

Ten Hag is insane. United has a 3-0 lead in this tie, playing at home against Forest, and he still insists on playing his very strongest team minus Rashford.
