Man Utd vs Arsenal (PL) 1-1

Amiron saying that is laughable because they’ve got enough decent players to be at least going for top four rather than just above the relegation places playing some of the worst football most supporters will have seen.

I think he will turn it around after a good transfer window and although it’s a massive job, it depends on how long the supporters and owners will give him.

feeling the heat already are ya, wonder how you will feel if we seriously slap you. :henry2:

Still fuming about the cup exit, hopefully Mik and the boys are too and are particularly motivated to win here.

Regardless of the players he has at his disposal, they shouldn’t be that low down the league. The manager has to take some responsibility here.

This isn’t the Liga Portugal anymore Amorim :face_with_hand_over_mouth:, their squad is very expensive they should be a top 10 side lol.

Bore draw although I would to sink these pricks.

I’ve got good vibes about this one. 3-1 to the Arsenal. Empty stadium by the end apart from the noisy Londoners in the away end.

I know it’s difficult to be heard at Old Trafford (they’ve had a shitty away section since crowd segregation became a thing in the 70s) so if you’re going, make even more noise please, I want to hear you on tele.

The irony is that most Man U supporters are from London. :grinning:

That’s harsh. A lot of them live in Essex too.

Be much more of a surprise if some twitter weirdo didn’t leak it but good news anyway

Wonder if Martinelli might play as a striker if the choice is between him and Merino?

One of our fans snapped Martinelli chatting to Jorghino (both in the same training gear) last night at a Manchester rail station as the team arrived in the “up North” area. That’s where he got the news I assume.

I wouldn’t be shocked if he is not even in the squad and just travelled with the team.
Arteta has done this before with players returning from injury.
Not sure what’s the benefit of it though.

Players probably miss the bantz of being with the first team. It’s probably for mental health, motivational purposes. Get them hungrier to return.

In offices it’s known as a “phased return”.

For a home game, maybe. Seems more likely hes there because hes ready to play a part at least.

Tbf, the instances I remember are with Jesus and Vieira and it was for away games. Could be a case where they’re close to return and the decision to actually include them or not is made right at the last moment.

Doubt he’s ready to play, but if he is -great to see him back!
