Odegaard needs to be a difference maker today. He needs to help us slow the tempo, keep the ball, slip out of their pressing traps.
I believe in Martin, he has to deliver today. Club captain, put in a performance to remember. One that very well helps us put one hand on the league trophy.

My hope is that Odegaard at least gives us some element of ball retention/ball carrying today. Iām not expecting him to be in attacking mode today, I think he and Rice will pick their moments to surge forward.
I think this was as good a line-up as I could have hoped for, to paraphrase George Graham in May 1989, if we can keep things tight and go in at half time at 0-0 we might get some opportunities to nick it later on.
not to be a downer or anything, just feeling so let down by these guys this season, i feel even if we get a great result today draw/win that all we will dois decide to mess up the next match anyway. I dont have much faith in this team to finish the job as we have countless chances to do that already.

Massive sliding doors moment for this club. Get the result and the door is open for massive success. Get beaten and I honestly question whether this generation will ever get over the line.

But going by the name order Iām worried abiut the formation.
Itās suggesting Eze is in midfield and Ode on the flank??
I mean, Ode likes the right flank and he can do a Bernardo Silvaesque job there, but Eze seems more equipped for the wing. Also if heās playing Ode on the flank, that means Madueke is on the left which also doesnāt help.
Hopefully the name order got me wrong and Eze is the LW.
Iām beyond pissed at Arteta he hasnāt been using the Eze-Ode combo more this year. He has actually barely used it. Itās better for the smaller teams though, not sure it works here.

Its good to see us being able to play something closer to our best side and a team that wonāt let City just smother us with their press like the CC final.
I think its going to be a cagey match and we will need to come big in the big moments.
The subs will be interesting because Odegaard and Havertz are both going to struggle to play more than 60-70 minutes.

The lineup is fine based on what we have but Eze has not performed yet at LW and often has people moaning when he has played there.
Timber and white both missing or off form is a big drop off, as is no Cala.
Thatās how it should be.
Hopefully Eze isnāt glued to the touchline, as Arteta LOVES.

Itās just another game and if anyone thinks this is a title decider, they know very little about football or have an interest in creating a narrative around it.
