Still think a long way to go. It seems Napoli are out of the race and are targetting Paet instead.

Good thing is, release clause ends 20th June - and World cup begins soon, so this saga shouldn’t last long. Hoping English sources report this too, as they have been quite so far.

I don’t want to get my hopes up just yet but I’ve already preplanned buying a Torreira away shirt!

Didn’t Sampdoria prefer 30M Euro over a long period as opposed to the 25M Euro r/c? It’s possibly a sum we would have quibbled over in the past. Just hoping we follow through in a proactive way now the path looks clear. Only ourselves to blame if this somehow backfires.
