Liverpool vs Arsenal (PL) 2-2

Will switch on after the guard of honor.

I’m actually pretty sure we will win this.

With the performance we really needed to produce in Paris, just to really wind everyone up.

We actually got the performance imo, just didn’t make it count.

That goal just before half time was the killer.

But even then we had the performance and the chances to go through to the final.

Anyone who says otherwise either didn’t watch the game, or is telling porkies.

Yeah if Saka scores that tap in you never know what could have happened :smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear:

I agree, considering we had several players missing, while PSG had a team costing over a billion with almost as much talent on the bench, we certainly had the chances to win that tie and without Donnarumma it would have been a lot different.

Liverpool have nothing to play for so I’ll go for a 2-2 draw, with Saka and Merino to score.

I’ve convinced myself that they rested all those players last week, just so they could go full strength against us and try to put us in our place.

I heard that most/all the semi-finalist UEFA managers rested their main guys on the weekend for their european fixtures.. apart from us, is this true?

It is, and then Bournemouth beat us anyway

Remembering we play today

Oh 100%

I’d have wanted us to do the same after being clapped onto the pitch as well.

Going to this one.

Come on Arsenal!

Rice out of the squad.
Trossard up top again then. :expressionless_face:

Would rather just try zinchenko and leave merino up top.

Rice given a deserved breather

Not resting players before SF 2nd leg but resting now away to Anfield when CL place still not secured. Arteta is something, man.

Also, not gonna watch the guard of honour. So gonna tune in 5-10 minutes late on purpose.

I don’t think he’s resting anyone. Rice is probably injured, hope it’s nothing serious.
