Tbh it was a pretty dead game.
I wasn’t worried or nervous once lol

Yeah, they were pretty harmless…
The most comfortable 1-0 I can remember in recent history.
The only thing that made me frustrated was the fact we couldn’t score more and I wanted a comfortable big win, but they never posed a threath really.
Wasteful in the final 3rd but got the goal and although Leicester had some more territory final 20 mins they never seriously threatened.
It’s not a game you’d watch back in the years to come, but very important to back up the demoralising city loss at home with 2 wins in a row away from home.
This is so crucial when the game turns in a high tempo scrap fest. One lucky break and a team is in on goal.
At least it didn’t cost us points this time. Still just don’t understand why VAR doesn’t check the incident.
VAR should either check everything or just not exist. What is even the point if it doesn’t check everything.
VAR does check everything. They only notify the ref if they want the game stopped or for him to go to the screen
And when you think of the soft pen Grealish got not a while ago, this shit refereeing is infuriating.
apology in a few weeks i presume
Well then what the hell is going on when we’re not having the lines put up on tv or getting penalties given like Saka?!
Think that’s just a tv gimmick they only do for the major one’s tbh
better than zero though
Haha very true, Ron
No it’s not. It’s literally how they make marginal decisions. But the lines should apply in all or in none. When the AI comes in if should improve a lot and as Ive been advocating for ages, bin linos calling offside. Check if necessary (goal, whatever), otherwise let the game flow.
Smart finish
