La Liga

This vile disgusting Spain sure gets a lot of visitors from here choosing it for holidays.
Not sure how that reflects on British society then.

Not sure what the continued crying is about tbh.

Originally had ‘digusting behaviour’ and changed it to country, cos it’s horrific in spanish football in particular. Lets get over it now ladies and gents and focus on the issues in the video itself.

Since I hail from Poland and Ukraine, I will chime in that I am not so sure about this statement to be accurate.

Is there racism. Absolutely. Are Eastern European fans routinely making monkey noises and the likes aimed at black players, I don’t think as much as they do in Italy or Spain.

Quincy Promes plays in Russia and if he would be racially abused I would 100% read about it on the Dutch football blogs I follow. I have never read anything about him being racially targeted at Spartak.

Poland in particular has improved light years and in many ways is a place unrecognizable from the 90s when I used to visit as a kid. Warsaw is an amazing city and more and more multicultural and the young people are very liberal.

I read this as Walsall first.

Xavi, get in the bin. He was put in a choke hold FFS.

Xavi has always been an idiot just in this case is a Barca Madrid thing

Read the room, some people just don’t know when to stop talking.

Tbf he’s not totally wrong, the real retrospective action would’ve been a red and ban for the choker. Saying that I’m happy vini got it rescinded, the ref should’ve been shown the full scenario in the first place.

Aside from that the punishments to Valencia and their fans should be as harsh as possible.

Was there ever an explanation as to why he wasn’t? Seems really odd

Spain, Portugal, Italy… They’re all the same. Racism is rife there, if I was a player I’d never play for clubs in those countries.

Same for most of Western Europe.

Whilst England used to be horrific, during the John Barnes days etc - it’s a much better environment to be a player now.

Shouldn’t you be getting for school instead talking bollocks

This is amazing

Have I read this right?

So theyre angry that his red card was removed after he was racially abused?

He wasn’t sent off for being racially abused he was sent off for violent conduct.

Yer, I know, thats why I said after he was abused

If he got sent off for that I think La Liga would have gone into meltdown

Sorry, but it’s the truth.

Actually speak to someone from marginalised groups and ask what their experience has been instead of getting upset.

Ad hominem personal attacks doesn’t disprove the facts.

The stats don’t lie, racism in Spain, Portugal and Italy is 10x worse than it is in England.

Well after living in Italy and Portugal for many many years I’ve probably been extremely fortunate never having suffered or witnessed any form of racism over the years and due to what I do I’ve travelled everywhere in the company of race’s of all kinds.
So no I’m not being upset I’m defensive of my fellow countrymen.
As for your stats which you haven’t provided by the way I can’t remember actually filling out a form for a survey whether I was racist or not.

So instead of the pot calling the kettle black or being accused of whataboutism because whilst racism is in every country to a certain degree, what was the consensus in England straight after the racist Italians beat England in the euro final and the black players missed the penalties?

Was it 10x times less than it would have been in those other disgusting countries?
