although there was an obvious drop in quality when he followed Monreal. The main problem with Tierney was obviously the injury problems combined with his wage, plus with us being shit at moving people on anyway, meant it was always gonna be hard to sell him.
Itās sad though because of how highly he was rated when he came through at Celtic but just didnāt happen for him here.
Never fit, not great defensively when he did play, spammed average crosses into the box and was one of the most expensive full backs in history when we signed him.
We barely got anything resembling value from his signing and paid him decent wages, kept him for what 5 or 6 years?

Itās not at all harsh mate the fee we paid and he spent half a decade here earning over Ā£100k and was just not a very good player for us with very limited availability.
