Yeah I do get that, I do think if we want to get good fees for players that aren’t in our starting eleven we might have to risk selling them to the bigger PL clubs though.

Yeah, I’ve had a brainfart moment there and read it as the former. I think the finances with wages and stuff now are such that if a club can afford to take a player off your hands you’re willing to let go then it has to be considered if you don’t want to end up being stuck with them.

I feel like the way this season has gone for him, things have run their course now and he’ll want to move on.
Gone for him? He’s been played out of position. This guy has a burning desire to play football. I feel Arteta has killed that by making him do something completely alien.
Who are we going to get to replace him? A LB that can play CM? Very rare.

Newcastle have been the main link we’ve heard of so far and it’s probably the likeliest destination for him. One of the few clubs that can offer him a starting role, probably match whatever we’re paying him or even give him more, and also give us a reasonable fee.
I guess the only issue is that Newcastle is slowly becoming a rival but it’s jot yet at stage where I think we will actively block a player’s move to them.

It was unacceptable that we used to sell our best players on the cheap to rival clubs but if Newcastle offer us silly money for an injury prone bench player, they are more than welcome to him.
Depends what you consider silly. I think if an offer around £30m comes in, the club will absolutely consider it.

Even the fee openings he had to attack he fucked them up. Just not in good run of form like Partey was.
I don’t think Zinchenko’s status warrants him being undroppable.
