Awful news, R.I.P brother
Very sad, RIP.
Gutted. RIP Kevin Campbell
Terrible news to wake up to. It feels like he was just giving commentary on his YouTube channel.
Always in our hearts Big Kev.
His partnership with Ian Wright was something special. The Arsenal team when you start following the team stays with you, he is an absolute Arsenal original to me. Very, very sad to hear this.
RIP.
Man this is sad news. I always had a lot of affection for the guy in his time here and always loved seeing him pop up on the scoresheet for Everton too. Everyone speaks so highly of him too. Just seems like he was a top bloke.
RIP big Kev.
Fucking hell this is so sad One of my favourite players. RIP
Awful news
So sad. I had the honour of having a chat with him, he was such a lovely friendly guy. RIP Super Kev.
I hope Arsenal do some sort of tribute to him in the coming months.
Next fixture against Everton surely something needs to be done.
Great player. Will always remember that purple patch he had for us in 93/94 where he was knocking in the goals domestically and in Europe.
He’ll be missed.
RIP.
He was getting into the first team around the time I started properly following The Arsenal and going to games.
I got to meet Kevin at Hotel Football at Old Trafford. We were they only openly Gooner men amongst a large number of Man Utd supporters. I had a good chat with him and remember part of the conversation about me having to explain that my son, Marcus, wasn’t named after Rashford, since he and my wife was also with us.
He was lively, and easily noticeable in the crowded room. A good personality that brushed off on the others around him.
R.I.P. Kevin.
Watching this goal live on telly was awesome
He was everything you’d want in a deputy, back-up striker to Wrighty.
Damn this came out of nowhere, first thing I see when I wake up as well
RIP Kevin
David, can you remember which game it was at Highbury where Wrighty and Campbell had a one-two before Kev smashed it in the back of the net from the edge of the area at the South Bank?
That was my favourite of his goals, we just looked amazing at the back end of the 91/92 season.
Just a smidgen before I started following Arsenal, that one.
Sounds like an amazing goal if you manage to find it, though! Please share.
dreadful news, of all people.
He was only 54 ffs. Do we know what condition was he suffering from?
The goal you’re referring to was at home v Palace
