This makes a lot more sense short term than spending 30-40m on Garcia would’ve. Kepa is a clown but the backup doesn’t need to be world class just serviceable. For 5m it’s worth doing.

Great move. He’ll be one of the best backups in the league, is good enough with his feet to play our football, and will cost very little. Cana probably already knows him well via the Spanish GK fraternity as well.
