Jorginho (20)

Love how we periodically get a reminder he’s one of the best squad players in the league.

Don’t think he’s had a great game(he certainly had moments where he was struggling) but for someone who has played for the first time this season I think he did well.
Completed the game too.
Interesting to see how Arteta manages his and Partey’s minutes now that we’ll be playing twice a week.

Thought he was decent today. We know that he can’t start 49 games this year, but he may be in line for 15-20 important starts. I’d start him against City, next to Rice.

I thought he did well.
It was always going to be tough for him considering the team we have atm and the opponent, but he did fine for most of the game.

You know it will be much easier for him when he has guys like Ode, Rice/Merino around and doesn’t have to cover that much space.

Dude had to play one game this season and he’s already out of oxygen.

At least he didn’t go to the clinic that Nasri went to, where you got put on a drip by some lass and then she’d take some drips out of you as well :sweat_drops:

Puma jacket??
Was this really after Sunday’s game?

The Udonis Haslem of the team. Takes up a spot in the squad but really he’s just an extension of the coaching team

Yeah Sun sport tactic analysis pointed out Jorginho as well

Any word on why he came off at half time?

Probs the yellow he was on and the fact he’s slow

Yea another ref on another day gives him the second yellow for that foul close to half time. Absolutely couldn’t risk him

Didn’t think it was possible to like this guy after his video on the coach after Chelsea beat us in the Europa final all those years back but he’s quietly gone about his business since being here and bit of an unsung hero. Where do we find a younger Jorgi once he joins Tetas coaching staff!

I’m with you, he has his moments, but I see no harm at all in having players like this around the squad. Professional as fuck.
