Inter vs Arsenal (CL) 1-0

Wonder if we’ll see Odegaard start here.

Don’t think the urgency is there to do so but I do think he will be involved in some way.

Perhaps play 10-15 mins.

Zinny LB and timber into midfield ? We’ve seen it when he’s made subs but never from the start right?

Jorginho feels like a safer bet.

No, I’m thinking he goes with one of these(in case White isn’t fit to start):

Raya
Partey-Saliba-Gabriel-Timber
Saka-Jorginho-Merino-Martinelli
Havertz-Jesus

Or

Raya
Timber-Saliba-Gabriel-Zinchenko
Saka-Partey-Merino-Martinelli
Havertz-Jesus

Prefer the latter in that case but would be a good chance to give Jorginho a game given the absentees.

Really want Partey back in midfield. Start Zincheko on the left and Timber on the right.

Arsenal away from home in Europe…I don’t have high hopes for us tbh

Just want to see a normal formation with creativity and guile.

Raya, Timber/White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko/Timber, Partey, Merino, Nwaneri, Saka, Havertz, Jesus

Nwaneri has to play in a 3 man midfield simple as. There is no one else to make things happen in pockets unless we’re throwing Odegaard straight in there.

Saliba liking this post when he was only 2 years old. True gooner

English clubs are bad in Europe liverpool aside

Arsenal are terrible in Europe

I expect an extremely boring game, with us being ultra defensive. I’ll take a draw right now.

Hopefully Odegaard gets some minutes, will need him against Chelsea. Let’s hope we don’t pick.up any new injuries.

The stakes aren’t that high. That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot of goals really.

I think Inter will win 5:1

:sol:

Every bone in my body says I’m going to be annoyed sitting and watching this for 90 mins.

this is the game we will bounce back, I believe

Hope you’re right man, because we’ve been playing like dirt for too long now

there will be a game to bounce back anyway, so why not this one?

Time for a memorable European away night.

Lol yeah I’ve got that feeling too.

My instinct tells me Arteta will be rotating a bit more than usual because the game at Chelsea is massive. We’ve been playing poorly anyway, and with a rotated side it will only be worse.

Hmmm. No Rice could mean no points.
