Hopefully, our relationship with Leipzig will push this over the line. Konate has everything to be a good centre back in the Premier League. He’d give us much needed aerial ability and there’s no chance he’s getting bullied by a Troy Deeney for example.

Konate is one of the best defenders in the league. Absolute fucking unit, usually very composed and dominant. Physically, there isn’t a stronger CB in the league imo.
Him getting sent off was just the icing on a lovely 3 points.

Was great to see him walk. Has to be said though apart from the sprint race in the first half, he really had Martinelli in his pocket when it came to the 1 on 1 duels.
