Don’t recognize his face or name. He’s either quite new or good at his job.
Seemed obvious from the replays that it shouldn’t be a red. Why is it so difficult for these people who have studied the laws of the game to get the decision right?

There’s simply no way the ref upholds his decision there if he gets another look at it. The lino screaming for a red is ridiculous too no matter what Webb says.
Fernandes in the background saying it’s red because it’s me
no consequences, no repercussion…
isn’t it ridiculous?
we have the replay system, but set up so many stupid boundaries to limit the use of it.
When the refs made a mistake, nothing happened, even their stupid on field decisions could affect the outcome of the games, and final standing in season end. Who goes to Europe and who doesnt.
While players and coaches have to behave like a slave on the other hand.
Beyond Absurd.
That’s so stupid. Why try to do something like improve officiating standards or transparency in decision-making during matches when you can just slap a team with a big fine for venting after a match.
I assume the game is once again reputable having administered this fine.
