Harry Kane

A move to Bayern will also help his longevity, he’ll finish so far ahead as England top scorer that it’d be nuts.

He should think long-term as he’d have a full trophy cabinet as well rather than one thats perennially empty

If Kane turns down a Bayern move to stay in England it’s because he’s driven by personal records more than he is building a legacy as a winner

This poor guy. He’s so enthusiastic and he never seems to get to report on Bayern getting their man this summer. I’d like to see this one be the one. :grinning:

Also, Kane going to Germany would be perfect for Arsenal fans who are also England fans. No more cognitive dissonance to support him :grinning:

Kane should hold out for United or Madrid. Better move in terms of finances and relevancy.

The appeal of a successive league wins with Bayern is very low, doubt it really add to his overall legacy compared to the PL goals record which is huge and will like hold for a while. Not alot of value there in validating his lack of trophy woes

Doubt Bayern go up to £100m for Kane anyway, Levy will never sell low

I’m not sure United can afford him with the restrictions a potential takeover negotiation may place on them.

The Bundesliga isn’t the only thing Bayern are competing for though, they can actually compete for the CL which is something United are so far off from that its hilarious

No guarantee Real go for him with either with Mbappe looking like he’ll be off within a year, can someone who has had zero trophies in their career turn their noses up at the promise of trophies at a top club such as Bayern? The PL goals record is another individual accolade, great to have but trophies as a team matter more IMO especially when he has zilch and that’s something Bayern can offer in a way that very few other clubs can.

And you know what it shows something that they’re actually willing to bid for him also rather than talking him up and not trying to sign him this summer like United have seemingly done

And Lewandowski really should have won the Ballon d’Or with Bayern and was essentially robbed of it, would United give him the platform for that award? I don’t think so. And that’s the ultimate personal accolade in the game.

If he goes spurs are in trouble

I always forget it was his brother who locked him into that stupid contract. So funny.

I disagree with this big time. I think specifically for Kane at this stage of career maximising his earnings and pursuing the PL record is more valuable in the legacy discussion compared to a few bundesliga titles which everyone knows are extremely low value as silverware. Everyone knows its tinpot cup in a rigged league. No one looks at him more favourably because of that.

The CL point and low intensive bundesliga football preserving his career is valid, I’ll concede.

I think selling him is the best thing Spurs can do for themselves. Their dependency on him has been one of their biggest problems for the last couple of years.

Records are made to be broken whereas no one can take away trophies won

Even Shearer the current holder has that league title to hang his hat on after he’s usurped as the top PL scorer.

For me Kane will look funny in the light to turn down Bayern if they can agree a fee even if to eventually sign for United

The magic 100m marker.

Lol all non-PL clubs barring Madrid and PSG are actually broke ass bitches.

In what world did Bayern think a £60m bid for Kane would even be worthwhile. Your offer was almost 70% less than what they’re asking for. And you’re dealing with one of the biggest cunts of a chairman in European football.

It would also allow Postecoglou to build a new side from the start, rather than building a team around Harry Kane for one year and then having to figure out how to adjust that team to the post-Kane era the following year (if he makes it that far).

But I still have a hard time seeing Levy selling. I just don’t think he is ready to face up to the post-Kane era, both in footballing terms and financially (Kane is likely a massive marketing windfall for the team). He’ll find a way to convince himself that all they need is a few signings, get back to CL and/or win a cup, and then Kane will sign a new deal. Its unrealistic but desperate people make illogical gambles.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted to sell Kane and get Kyogo down as his replacement.

We should put in a Holding plus 5m bid just for the lols

Doing the right thing here, Spurs going right under.

Incredible scenes. Madrid should be circling.

I’d love Arsenal to submit a bid just to toy with Tottenham.
