Xhaka suited our system so much. What a pleasure it was to see him grow and thrive in Arteta’s system.

2 years on - and no one has truly replaced Xhaka. Glad he moved on and achieved better things.

You’ve gone full on anti arsenal here, lol

I’ve been very vocal regarding Xhaka’s departure - see previous posts in the thread.

In terms of achieving better things - winning the title (undefeated season) is definitely a better achievement in my eyes than simply competing for the title in the PL.

Thank god, I don’t want to see ‘6 bad seasons to give 1 good season’ from another player ever again.

What can you do when a player wants a new challenge though. No one expected Leverkusen to go on and do what they’ve done.

I’m with you though, even with the Rice addition I’d still have liked xhaka to stay

Wenger era he was mid but under Arteta - he was very effective imo. But in Merino we trust.

He has not aged well at all lol

Hey Granit.

Going bald is cool. I started at 21. Never effected my life, my career (other things did that) and I’m not boasting but I’ve never struggled to find a partner when being single got dull. So, men, stop worrying about it, ignore all the companies trying to make products for this “problem”.

It’s perfectly normal. It’s part of you. Love your baldness, shave your head and wear your naked-dome with pride. But do get a thermal beanie for winter.

Which is funny because I actually suffer crippling anxiety but that’s due to a neurological disorder. It’s a bit like a fire alarm bell that’s stuck on for no reason.

But I’ve always been happy in my body, it’s far from “perfect” whatever that is.
