As far as I can tell, Xhaka first missed training last Wednesday so it seems fair to assume he first tested positive that morning. I don’t understand whether the mandatory 7 day quarantine starts that day or the next but it could be the difference between him being able to play Thursday or not. If it started last Wednesday then it ends today, he could do some training tomorrow, and play on Thursday. If it started last Thursday then it ends tomorrow and it seems kind of unlikely that he would be brought back into the side for a match on literally his first day back with the team. Guy is a machine physically and I’m sure he’s been keeping in shape during his quarantine but that’s still a big lift. Either way, unless he’s been really sick and feeling the effects I would think he would be fine for Spurs.
