Xhaka is an absolute garbage of a midfielder so I don’t care if a garbage midfielder will be replaced by a garbage midfielder.
At the end of the day, it’s a garbage midfielder on the pitch.

Exactly, depth and strength in depth are two entirely different animals. If Partey gets injured we’re done for tbh. Even if you start to consider Odegaard at number 8 more which I like the idea of I feel like you need Partey beside him or it could get nasty.
Partey stays fit for 18 games then I’m happy enough, if he doesn’t well then this could a long wait until January.

Bloody Bournemouth didn’t think he did enough to extend his deal but we’re gonna sign him to start besides Partey.
I’d rather he dropped Odegaard to CM, and then Saka/ESR/Pepe behind Auba.
