This is the best thing about automated offside. It doesnât matter what you think you saw, the computer knows better.
Although i heard they might go with a different system to the one UEFA/FIFA uses and fuck knows why.

Who knows but my first reaction is that its one of these perspective things and they got it exactly right. The far defender just isnât that far forward once you look at where they are compared to the beginning and end of the dark stripe of pitch. The attackerâs front knee is right in the middle and the far defender is clearly not yet in the middle.
