Yep, weâre second class citizens. Iâve got my medical for a blue badge tomorrow. The letter said âour doctors are not qualified to assess invisible conditions caused by your disabilityâ. I have an invisible condition, so I wrote back asking why I needed an assessment and the councilâs response was basically âThe Department for Transport recommend itâ. Ah yes, theyâre the best Government department to give expert advice on health matters.

Fucking hell. I just applied for my daughterâs. They told me four months to process it and then they emailed to say they were putting it through. I suppose I should feel glad that we were randomly chosen to be waved through this time. Next time we probably get your experience.
