The picture is way too clear in bright sunlight.
Hardly any reflection or glare.

When I search Bradley Lowery, I can’t find that pic

Well, if, on the off chance it has been photoshopped, the police will be able to determine that.

We’ve no idea what kind of equipment the pic was taken with. I’d imagine these things can be overcome with modern devices no?

I agree.

Without knowing anything about this story, purely going by the image you shared here. That looks 100% photoshopped.

It’s impossible the phone image is this clear from wherever this image was taken with whatever camera. In bright daylight any phone’s screen becomes quite dim. Nothing in this phone’s image looks real.

Quite certainly a fake.

The match was Friday night. Not during daylight hours.

Okay, but if you look at the direction of the shadow of the cellphone on the guy in grey, the floodlights should reflect on the phone’s screen.

I am being speculative. Maybe I am completely wrong but I am inclined to give them some benefit of doubts because I am doubtful of the image. It won’t surprise me if the image is real and those two are cunts

Police have charged the guy.

Bit like that cunt United fan wearing the 97 Not Enough shirt (or whatever specific Hillsbrough related message it was), I don’t know that this needs to be a police matter.

I find it odd that people can be arreated for “outraging public decency” for things that they say, or in this case, display on their phones and laugh at.

Not to suggest that I have any sympathy for them, as using a child dead from cancer as “banter” on the terraces is vile and deplorable.

Getting a lifetime ban from their club and the public shame that comes with this going viral seems more appropriate than criminal charges.

The 97 shirt I understood, it’s the sort of thing that could cause a punch-up and was clearly planned in advance.

The phone thing? While most normal people would see that photo and feel angry or sickened, I hope they’re not just basing the arrest on one photo that could be taken out of context. If they were chanting or were showing it for an extended period and drawing attention to themselves, then fair enough. But if it was a guy being a cunt with a phone for a second or two to make his mate laugh and it seemed like a good idea at the time, therefore not pre-planned, then I’d just ban them.

It’s the displaying of the photo which is the alleged offence here. Because the other laughing guy isn’t being charged.

But agreed, no need for police action.

There are plenty of terminally ill kids and their families that society gives less than no fucks about, so I’m not about to start fretting about the fate of some scumbag who thought it was ok to turn a child who died of cancer into football “banter”

That’s proper scummy behaviour, hopefully a few close to him will have a word

Oh right, it wasn’t photoshop then. People just jumped to nonsense conclusions lol

Doing what he did I’ll venture to bet he’s a lowlife scumbag.

Is there any other image of this incident?

Because if this image is real, I will be very very surprised:

Him and his brother
