It’s almost as good as the financial advice columns that tell people to just not eat out.

My dad (god love him) gave me shit because I told him I was going to get a burrito while my partner was pregnant with our oldest. He was like “You can’t be spending money on stuff like that.”

Yeah, it’s like these home economist experts you get on the local news. “seek out the specials”, “check your flyers for discounts”, “use coupons”. Fucking morons.

My real favorites are the CNBC “Budget Profiles” of people living in big cities. It’s usually a young person living in a super expensive city sharing their tips and tricks about living on a budget. The tips always boils down to be born into a wealthy family. Great advice.

Is that not a act of war :face_with_monocle:

It is usually but Israel is the aggressor and they’re backed by America so it’s not really seen that way.

It’s not an act of war when you don’t like the recipient.

Like blowing up Nordstream 2.

Syrians and Arabs don’t really count I guess

Germans are staying silent on that even thou it fucked up the economy and made them reliant on expensive US oil and gas

Other than Seymour Hersh, everyone is staying silent. Even though it only takes a couple of brain cells to work out what happened.

Iirc Hersh’s piece all hinges on a single anonymous source.

The guy did do amazing work back in the day but he’s lost his fastball.

But nobody seems to care who blew it up anymore.

That tells me who did it more than anything

What’s crazy to me is that there are still people who defend Israeli foreign policy lol

I’d believe Seymour Hersh over Snopes any day of the week.
