“Hate speech” is a big no-no online in the UK. Been a huge focus on it in the last 5 years in the UK, specifically in regards to Twitter.
Problem is it’s very open to interpretation, and it’s a lot easier to get arrests and hit targets in these types of cases than actual crimes like mugging, rapes and homocides (because there’s a paper trail with an IP address etc).
There was a big case a few years ago where a Scottish comedian made a YouTube video where he conditioned his Pug to raise its paw when he said “Sieg Heil” or something like that and he was sentenced to prison for hate crimes.
It took years to go through and it was a big deal and there was a lot of outrage.
Europe is a lot tougher on this kind of thing than the US.
Still, investigated by police… Hilarious.
He was only fined £800. And then he joined UKIP.
I thought he was convicted???

I got that part It is an easy one to catch ( his whole career is built on stopping refugees then becomes one😂) but few people are saying pretty nasty stuff you don’t want to become what you dislike
