Tldr; Florida is the ideal place for setting space launches because itās on the equator and when you head East then you are going in the same direction as earthās spin and take-offs happen over the sea which is handy for emergencies. For these reasons you can have less powerful rockets that require less fuel for takeoffs.

I really dislike Jeff Bezos and he is cut from another cloth than Elon.
