So…Martinelli has higher potential than Sterling and Gnabry… right?
Should be played in the strike position
I like him but I want him to have a 20 goal G/ A type season before I really rave on about his quality.
Until then he is just an exciting young player with potential.

Ehh. Idk, I want at least another season of Martinelli gelling. Plus if we add a true left sided midfielder. Just imagine.
I feel like we’re in a weird little position right now where we have ESR, Martinelli and Saka. The latter two haven’t signed contracts. ESR has recently I believe? Might be wrong.
They’re all fantastic players but the’re also healthy assets, I’d absolutely consider selling one that’s not named ESR and reinforcing the team with a signing like Gnabry plus something extra.
Liverpool are what they are today not just because they bought well but they sold well too.
Saying that we stand to gain more both in terms of football and finances by locking these lads down to long term contracts. That goes for our defence and Arteta too.

Personally I feel like that’s the super duper uno reverse card high IQ play. Saka is the golden boy and will command and absolutely stellar, record breaking fee. City or Pool might even pay it. Will he be better than Salah, or even Mahrez? Maybe over time but not right now.
It’s very harsh because he’s one of us but we can’t repeat the mistakes we made with Cesc.
Though if I was Pep I’d be doing everything I could to get my hands on ESR, he’s genuinely the perfect player for him, even more so than 100 million Grealish.
