Fucking hell Gabi, what happened?

Simply canā€™t start the game against City.

He shouldnā€™t be blamed whatsoever, it lies with Arteta

The guy has run out of puff for a while now and we signed someone who is clearly more than capable of starting in his stead, it is so so poor to continue to flog him

Open game, end to end. Why would you not want Martinelli starting that? Of course he should start.

Play Trossard away at Villa on the weekend when weā€™re playing a team defending the pen box all games.

On the other hand maybe Arteta is backing the lad and showing some faith and keeping a good relationship.
We have options now and pretty sure we make the change now.

Honestly if thatā€™s what it is then we wonā€™t win this title

Relationship? Heā€™s been starting all season and is clearly out of form perhaps even jaded physically, if thatā€™s where priorities lie then yeah we arenā€™t winning this thing

This is no world class player, since when did Trossard become someone who canā€™t play in an open game? You really think flogging someone who is out of form and looks like his physical edge has dropped off a bit is the way? This is exactly what we should have signed him for to take the burden off of this kid when he needs it.

Dude needs some games on the bench

Played like shit again today.

Needs to be benched. Has definitely lost a bit of his spark recently.

I think heā€™s missing Gabriel Jesus

Heā€™s looked low on mojo since October.

Heā€™s probably fine if he gets some rest. Itā€™s probably exhausting being as aggressive as he often is.

Needs early ball when hes out wide to put their defenders on skates. We often just ignore him or pass it around for too long and let the defense compact on him. There were numerous times he should have been fed the ball and wasnā€™t.

Do think he is missing Jesus there too but donā€™t think we have been giving him the best opportunity to shine.

He actually looked lively today, probably the best he looked in recent weeks. There just wasnā€™t much space with this compact Brentford formation, and Trossard being our best option on the bench it was obvious he was the first to go.

He was busy but didnā€™t really look dangerous.

Jesus opens up space and passing lanes for Martinelli.

Hasnā€™t been the same threat since Jesus was injured.

Two things, the fail to play balls in to space where can run in behind the fall backs, like at Brighton, Liverpool and the disallowed goal at Manchester United; and now he is being double marked and no other player comes in to remove that pressure, and without Jesus he roams around far less than before and looks more isolated.

Also with Eddie in the team odegard, Saka and gabi are more static positionally, weā€™ve been less dynamic in games
