If your agenda isnt wanting to see a more competitive team out on the pitch, and u accept mediocrity, then I dont want a truce, you are an enemy of me and this one time great club. However if ur fine with the status quo i bet the kroenkes and board view you as a massive ally. Look at the dood who accepts trash football and losing out on top 4 to spurs when they hired a better manager, and he doesnt complain and keeps giving us his money. For what it’s worth @BigWeng_4LYFE (and in a desperate bid to get this topic back on track), I agree with the general gist of what you’re saying about Gabriel Jesus only being given a premium number of goalscoring chances at Arsenal. Given that I don’t feel he’s that deadly at Man City, it’s a massive gamble we’re taking on him.

I didnt have an issue with it until i saw what the offer was. Now it makes a ton of sense. Doubling his wages to go to a Europa League club. As I said before I think a player of his reputation could be going to a team like Atletico Madrid or Milan and playing in the CL. Looks like he just wants a big pay day tho. And I guess I understand why so many ppl take offense to that, they dont wanna admit the state the club is in.

Jesus + a (nother) forward would be a good start.
Clearly, counting on Saka/ESR/Martinelli to take another step forward.

We’ve been linked to a bunch of strikers. The Athletic did an analysis on them:
It looks like Jesus is the one the club is prioritizing a the moment and has been working on for months now. Eddie will most likely be the second striker.
We’re also interested in a winger. We’ve been linked with Sterling(he has no interest coming to either North London side per Ornstein), Raphinha(we ain’t got a chance) and Gakpo are some of the names mentioned off the top my head. It does look like that move will depend on Pepe getting out first though.

I think Jesus would play for us mainly as No.9 but can be moved out wide left or right. If Nketiah signs a new deal, Jesus would be our only new striker, BUT I do think we will sign a winger to strengthen our attack and that’s before Pepe goes. If Pepe leaves, we will replace him (same goes for Xhaka) IMO.

Yep I’m sold on that idea, it would be a dream signing. Who knows…probably getting hopes up, but would love to see him back at Arsenal. A first choice attack of Gnabry, Saka, and Jesus would be pretty good IMO.

It’s definitely hypocritical but yeah I think I just have become the villain because I’ve exposed how badly this club is being run and the frauds in charge running it. When ur emotionally invested in a sporting club like many Arsenal fanatics are, it’s heresy to speak truths about the shambles the state of the club is in. Ppl dont take kindly to that.
