Not 100% sure about that source but ah well.

That was Arsenal Lounge when they brought on Fabrizio. They usually queried him for like 30 minutes about all things Arsenal which got us a lot scoops.

Just Arsenal doing Arsenal things. Can guarantee if this is the case we are gonna have issues. There’s trouble a brewin’.

Imagine signing a young striker coming into his prime with bags of EPL experience on just more than half of what Auba was on and less than Lacazette’s wages.

What a dickhead move by the club, deeerp

There wasn’t trouble brewing when Lacazette was on similar wages and there won’t be trouble with this either.

HERE WE GO!! :poldi: :bellend: :bellcry:

What a stupid statement. You are so hypercritical. You moan when the club invests. You moan when the club doesn’t invest. You moan we can’t attract top players because the club isn’t willing to match players wages being offerred by other clubs. You moan when we are offerring big wages for a player. Can’t win with you!

It highlights the issues with the club. Gabriel was just winning the league at City on less than 100k a week. You realize that him not wanting CL football is a red flag right? He’s willing to forgo playing in the biggest comp as long as he’s getting a fat pay raise, gotta question the mentality of the player at that point, very similar to Willian.

The club was actually making sense when they were buying guys like Sambi (even tho he’s either not very good or they are bad at identifying talent at that age) and promoting Saka/ESR. Doods who have something to prove and want to take steps up in their careers. Credit where it’s due on guys like White/Gabriel/Ramsdale tho. They could carry Arsenal a long way. Jesus is taking a step down clearly for the pay day. Arsenal never learn :joy::joy:

Ok let’s examine that stupid statement of yours shall we…why does Gabriel Jesus want a move away from City?

Well for starters, City have just signed Erling Haaland as their new No.9 and will be their main striker next season. City also signed JuliĆ”n Ɓlvarez who you could argue will become their new backup striker, in additon to have a load of players in their squad who can play as a false No.9. Jesus’s contract only has a year left, and his opportunities at the club are going to be less next season. The fact he wants a move away from the club shows he wants to go somewhere and play first tea football. If he wasn’t interested in that he could remain at City, run his contract down, sit on the bench, and move on a free.

Arsenal is an attractive proposition. He has a pre-existing relationship with Arteta. He has a pre-existing relationship with Edu. We have other Brazilian players in the squad. He would get to remain within the PL. London and Arsenal remain a big draw for players. And we can offer a competitive contract. Plus we have a project and an excellent group of top young players.

Willian was rubbish for us, BUT he left after a year and agreed to cancel his contract on the basis that he wanted to go and play first team football. That says a lot about the player. It didn’t work out but he could have held us to ransom with his contract and didn’t so deserves some credit.

Lol, I had to check what @BigWeng_4LYFE said with these reactions. Indeed, stupid statements, and he isn’t stupid. It’s just shifting the goalposts to suit his narrative.
If Wenger sanctioned the move he would be calling him the next R9 or some shit and would praise Arsene’s pull that brought such a player to the football club…

So wut ur telling me is that he’s deemed not good enough to even be a backup striker at City so we’ve taken their cast off and are going to double his wages? Lmaoo sound business :+1::+1:

Let’s be real here, you dont think a team in France/Italy that plays in the Champions League could use Jesus as an upgrade on their team? Of course they could and he’d get plenty of first team football there. However he’s fine playing on Thursdays as long as his wages get doubled. He wouldnt fuck with i dunno, Milan for example cuz they cant pay him what we can.

@BigWeng_4LYFE has an agenda and it is becoming so transparent.

Love the reciepts y’all are giving me, gonna be a blood bath in a few years when im proven right again :joy::joy::joy:

You’ll just shift the goalposts again, telling us we signed great players and they’re carrying Arteta or some shit. Just like you did with the crop we bought last summer.

Again, such a stupid statement. I do appreciate that you lack understanding given you are from the US, but the PL is a big draw and has probably re-established itself as the best league in Europe. The fact that Jesus won’t be able to compete with Haaland for a regular starting position and he wants to move elsewhere to get more playing time, is completely understandable. Doesn’t make him a bad player which is what you appear to be suggesting? Are you getting confused with American Football?

This is why I cant take y’all serious, you really dont have a clue wut ur talking about :joy::joy:. Go look at my reaction to us signing Ramsdale and White. I never spoke a bad word about them despite the hyseteria in here, I was all for those signings exactly the type of guys we needed. Taking a step up from lower clubs, getting a proper pay raise and taking the next logical step in their career. Jesus isnt that…

It is exactly that…he would be leaving City to come to Arsenal to be our No.1 striker next season. Our new No.9. It would be a completely logical step for a player in his mid 20s wanting to establish himself as a main striker, coming into his prime years.

Confident. :xhaka2:
