Genuine question whether you guys actually watch any of the testing and do you really think it means anything?
I’ve often seen random results from previous years where it looks like team X are shit but end up being right up at the front, while someone like Williams did good in testing.
Never really thought it meant much but I admittedly don’t pay much attention to it or to any correlation really.
I keep an eye on testing but you’re right in that you can’t always tell how teams compare to each other as no one really knows the fuel each team are running, and they will be exploring set up and configurations. But from the timings, you do get a bit of an indication of the relative performance of each of the cars. This season looks like everyone is going to be much closer and it doesn’t seem that it will just be between two teams.
First race week of the season. Here’s hoping Ferrari have a car worthy of Hamilton.
Just be nice to have something other than football on tbh.
NFL only ended a few weeks ago but feels like forever since I’ve had a distraction from hate-watching Liverpool.

McLaren and Williams had a strong FP1. Let’s see how FP2 goes.

That is a statement win and weekend from Norris. Pole, crazy conditions in the race and made zero mistakes.
Not zero mistakes tbf. Both him and Piastri went off when it started to rain again.
Also Mclaren best car by a country mile. Looks after tyres and the fastest. Norris just about won.
Great opener though. Hope other teams catch up in a few races others Lando will team order his way to a cheap title.
Need to catch the highlights later, hate the opening of the season timings.

Ferrari found a way to fuck things up again. Tried to be over smart with the tyre choice and paid the price for it. Ferrari really ought to sort this ahit out.

McLaren have had the best car for almost a year. .380 quicker than the Red Bull in quali.
Hopefully Piastri can challenge Norris for the championship
