When Mercedes dominated f1 for years you would agree Hamilton also won those titles because of OP car?
Max is a tremendously talented driver especially on wet circuits. A bit of an asshat, granted. Iāll never forget him winning the Spanish Grand Prix at 18 years old in 2016.
Yeah most of Hamiltonās titles are from an OP car too, same as Schumacher, but Lewis had much more competitive teammates than Max has had.
Max is the best driver on the grid at the moment, fact. But what I said above also rings true. This season Norris fumbled and didnāt take advantage of the better Mclaren for a large part of the season. Donāt rate him at all tbh and never have. No cojones.

Couldnāt be arsed to get up and watch it but was inevitable, McLaren fucked lando up too much this season and his own few mistakes (bad starts mostly) didnāt leave any room to claw back the huge gap.
Congrats to Max, hope someone else can win next year though and have max throwing his toys out the pram in prime Lewis fashion.
Tbf that season was very similar to this one. A much quicker car in the first half but overtaken by the pack in the second half with most races damage limitation.

Formula 1 is a fucking bore fest. Having said that, this season was a little less of a bore fest. With Newey no longer at RB, things will likely get more even next season. I want to see a 3 way title fight next season, and some surprise winners in races.
These eras where one team dominates the sport for a few years has just killed all my interest. Heck I got bored of watching Schumacher win season after season and Ferrari is my team.
Anyway, letās hope for a more competitive season next time around
