Has he got a minute of football yet since the return?
I like him a lot and think he has tremendous potential but I am worried about his lack of game time in various situation.

Controlling the game, no action.
Game looking to be done(although it wasn’t), no action.
£35m spent on someone we can’t trust to make any difference even in the last 10 mins of a game.
I know it’s not a huge sum but I do question the logic

Yeah I mean there’s settling in and buying for the future but surely today was a prime example of when he should come on.
Two forwards were playing crap and ode wasn’t on fire as much as normal (although I’d never take him off tbh), yet still no minutes??

Play him the full 90 against Oxford. It’s up to him to really impress and give Arteta a selection headache ahead of the NLD.

They probably thought he would have adapted far quicker than he has, hopefully he comes good but no doubt they anticipated he’d be able to contribute much more than this.

My biggest worry is that he is an Arteta signing, he apparently was keen to get him.
He backed him to improve during the break, he was with the team all the way there, looked good and now we’re back to business he has zero involvement.
Something ain’t checking out.
