FA Cup 2022/23

2nd round weekend.

It means football on both sides. World Cup on one, FA Cup on the other.

Bliss

Is the more magic in these rounds now, more than the latter.
I think the is myself.

I’d say so. Even seeing the likes of Wrexham who have been kicking arse in the Vanarama Conference pitting their wits against Football League sides gives the games a level of intrigue.

Notts County (who top that league) went out to Coalville Town in qualifying. For Coalville Town they had a big game in the 1st round at Charlton as a consequence, where they eventually lost.

Ipswich v Buxton tomorrow could be the tie of the round.

A home-made tin foil FA cup never gets old does it.
These inflatable ones need banning from stadiums.

Haha yeah, young kids braving the cold to brandish those. Incredibly nostalgic.

Another one to look out for Strolls is Newport v Derby on ITV tomorrow afternoon

Always tricky down that place. Beat Leeds a few years ago.
Did they beat Leicester a couple seasons back?
Warne doing a good job at the rams so far.

They did indeed lol. Leicester exacted some form of revenge in the League Cup this season.

I’m still waiting for us to dish out that “best served cold” revenge to Wrexham. 30 long years…

Derby snatch it right at the end! David McGoldrick

Was in a Wetherspoons yesterday, a pub chain which is known for not having sky

However, they went from one World cup football game, to the FA Cup game, then switched over when the other World cup game started

Glorious!
