I was under the impression that it was well-known on here that Iām a Chelsea fan. I donāt live in London so liking more than one team is a bit less crazy.
Fabio Vieira: 49 games (Arsenal career), 3 goals
Martin Ćdegaard: Last 37 games, 4 goals
Ethan Nwaneri: 11 games, 4 goals
āāāā
Also, itās much to early to say, but Iāll say it anyway. Nwaneri has looked better when thereās a right footed winger outside of him to stretch the pitch.
He does have a goal in him, but I wouldnāt expect him to be a big goalscorer still, most of those goals came in the league cup games against lower league oppositionā¦ Doesnāt have to mean heāll have that ability on top level, heās also still so young he could go in a different direction with his developement.
Even when you look at Ode, he scored mad 15 league goals from open play 2 years agoā¦ Those are good striker numbers. I was super surpsised because I never saw him as a huge goalscorer and Iām pretty happy he went in other direction in the last year or so - improving massively a playmaker, as guy who makes stuff happen, but isnāt scoring that much these days.
I expect similar stuff from Nwaneri going forward, the goals would just be a bonus to me. He has way too much technical talent to focus on goal output much.
The fact that he has goals in him is special. Itās not something you can really teach so if he can continue that into his senior career will make him worth his weight in gold.
