He’s far from ready to start regularly, but he definitely offers something different. Good to see him come on yesterday.

was looking out for Max Dowman in that video

he is only 18 but I am not seeing any great talent in there

He has a lot of talent just not as a CM. Electric acceleration, good control and pretty lethal finishing.

Was why we didn’t need Madueke but now he’ll just have to work harder to get starts.

Don’t feel any need to rush to judgement. What he did last season was great. He has plenty of time to still make it here but the competition is unreal also.

I’d really like to see him back at RW at some stage soon. I don’t like he’s being pushed as an 8/10 this season exclusively after showing so much as a RW last year.

Was plenty of chance to give him the chance already with Saka and Madueke injuries, but even with them he should be getting some minutes there regularly.

Get out of here with that. We’re crowning Dowman. We have our new shiny toy now. We’re going to be unreasonable.

That’s unfair. He’s definitely talented.
His drop-off is not too dissimilar to MLS who bossed Real Madrid in the CL 6 months ago.

I get the concerns, I have them as well but I think he’s earned the patience.

I refuse, sir.

Think we should crowdfund rocky a Dowman shirt for Christmas.

Comfortable performance by Ethan, nothing special but did the basic well.

Made sense to give him a start after his good performance against Brighton last week. It’s a long season again, his role this season has somewhat differed which is understandable given the depth we now have.

Even Eze in his last two games for his quality and experience hasn’t stood out, not worried about Ethan, think he’s doing just fine, just hasn’t hit those levels last season at RW as of yet. Long season ahead.

Could do with extra material to warm the fireplace for the upcoming winter…

And this is exactly why it annoys me when people scream ā€œplay the kidsā€

Barely any players throughout the history of football have been effective at the highest level consistently at the age of fucking 17-18 lol

Never shown any potential in central position(s) and I have no clue why some want him to be Ode’s backup…

Nothing special about the kid. Looked great in January when our attack turned to shit. I see a very decent Premier League player potentially but probably at a mid-table team.

Will end up at Fulham/Palace like the rest of them. A cool Ā£40+m bid from one of them will come in the next few seasons I’m sure

He definitely needs to improve off the ball and ball retention. Still young so plenty of time to develop.

People writing him off already? :pires2:

Think he’ll end up being either like Curtis Jomes is for Liverpool (a decent squad option) or like Iwobi was a very sellable asset. Can’t see him being a key man here.
