Fair play :joy:

Sometimes you just have to admire brilliance. He’s so clinical.

Now get a long term injury, you cunt.

107 prem games 98 goals

Incredible from this Robot, he will smash the prem goal record for sure if he stays long enough

He has nine years left on his contract.

It’s safe to assume he’ll break that record if he doesn’t piss off to Spain or something.

He’ll definitely break the league one record.

People forget that Haaland was born in England. Not convinced that Barca holds the appeal that it used to. Would have thought only Madrid could entice him to leave the big bucks of City and the almost certainty of retiring as the Prem’s all time top scorer.

I don’t think anyone outside of Saudi could even afford to buy him. And Real can’t get him to run his contract down, because he’ll be 35 by then.

I’m shocked he signed that contract. I genuinely thought he was going to bounce around the top leagues winning every trophy he could. It’ll most likely be a big drama if he wants to leave one day.

He might be the highest paid player in the PL but surely he’ll want to play for a genuine big club in his career.

David Silva nor de Bruyne agrees.

If he demands Ā£1m per week or something ridiculous to renew, and if they can’t afford due to FFP (good joke I know!). City will be in a very difficult position.

So many years not knowing how to score a goal without him, and it’s not like there’s a comparable player anywhere in the world. Wishful thinking.

Any club who dishes out crazy contracts like 7-9 years immediately puts them at a disadvantage. If the player turns world class, he holds all the keys to how future negotiations go on. If the player turns shit, they’re stuck with him. These crazy long contracts are stupid, no matter the quality of the player imo.

He’s already on Ā£500k/week officially and likely a heap under the table too - when FFP causes an issue they will simply pay him via another avenue

there won’t be future negotiations because the contracts is already negotiated

They were wise to insert a release clause in his last contract so it’s not out of the question that there is some sort of exit clause in his new contract.

Has just put Norway ahead, and then immediately scored again.
He’s now tied with Lewa as the top goalscorer in UEFA World Cup qualifiers with 16.
Needs another goal to break the record.

Bumping this thread in an international break for a reason other than to report he’s injured.

WOTD.
