Emile Smith Rowe

…so we can sell him for lots of sweet sweet cash.

That’s what Nosferatu said when he took over the PSG and Arsenal jobs too. Confirmed English KDB career over before it ever started

Here’s hoping his IQ on the pitch is leagues ahead :joy:

Nervous, but improved as the game went on. We should have patience with him and the rest of the young’uns.

Should have taken a shot on instead of leaving it for an out of position Aubameyang, hopefully he starts to develop some confidence in himself.

Agreed, that pissed me off a lot. More starts should hopefully increase confidence.

I still quite like him, needs to grow into the squad more and seize his chances. Understandably he chose to defer to Aubemayeng when better positioned

I just don’t see anything special in this kid.

At least with Saka, Nelson and Martinelli, you can see they have spurts of good moments. Just don’t see any of that with ESR.

Very bad showing today. It was so bad. Literally did absolutely nothing. No take ons. Side way passing. Total crap.

Not going to judge him after one away game under an interim manager and team that is flat on its back.

He’ll have a chance under Arteta, will be interesting to see who’s still here after next the pre-season.

Some good runs but him and Nelson were clearly unsettled for the level of the game.

Yep - neither looked at all comfortable until after 60 minutes and even then… good run for them I guess but man we were disjointed as f*ck - tbf that is par for the course this season.

He’s had multiple league cup and Europa outings tbf. All of which show the same as today.

His control was pretty shocking today

Last season I would’ve had him pegged as easily the most likely to make it of Nelson, Saka, and him, now I’d probably have him as the least likely.

I’m not sure really whats going on, maybe it’s low confidence, because I thought he had more quality than this. Maybe confidence or maybe just one of those youth players that’s been overrated a bit.

No player with the first name Emile is ever going to be any good

Been put off the name ever since Emile Heskey’s stoppage time equaliser at Anfield against us in January 2003 ?

Wasn’t even meant to be a corner

Fucking pissed me off also, us bottling the league in 2003 is still annoying, should have won 3 titles in a row.

Yeah first touch was shambolic… I feel like he slightly got more comfortable after about 60 min, but yeah… not at all excited about that performance… expected more from him but I reckon we have lots of players on a confidence crisis after the vampire sucked them dry.
