Elon Musk (and Ex Twitter)

:arteta: That truly captures how pathetic these musk peasants really are. Imagine deifying an apartheid trust fund baby.

Barring twitter-fail all of his businesses center around getting fat public infrastructure contracts and subsidies. He’s a glorified government contractor. Even Tesla relies on selling government carbon credits to other automakers.

I’ve worked for government contractors—they’re a useless drain on public resources. Musk would have never been successful anywhere but a country like the U.S. that is hellbent on privatizing any and every publicly funded good.

This is not true.

No point arguing with retards envy and jealousy is one hell of a drug. Plus his cooperate master has told them who to hate so he is following orders like the kindles drone they are

Fair warning. Stop using this word about other posters on this forum.

What!? :arteta:  Is this some new conspiracy theory?

That Tesla battery runoff has really fried your brain.

Why would people be jealous of someone who is clearly never satisfied with what he’s got?
He might have more money than anyone else but he still craves more power and influence, by buying and controlling the biggest social media platform.

This would indicate that he’s got mental health issues which, ironically, is what you are accusing his detractors of having.

Here comes the word police

Cool story bro should right a novel. Craves power? To do what?

I don’t understand Kitn’s intention. Calling someone working with literal rocket science engineers a peasant for his (positive) view on Musk doesn’t really make a solid argument.

Neither is stating Musk as an apartheid trust fund baby. If you do even the slightest research you can see it is simply not true.

Who knows?
He’s clearly a power hungry megalomaniac with an ego the size of a small planet but being the world’s richest man isn’t enough for him so he’s now trying to control what people say by buying up the biggest social media platform.

Do you seriously think he doesn’t crave power?

hehe

The lack of self awareness among the billionaire fanboy cult is just

It is not necessary to diminish Elon’s achievements with PayPal, SpaceX and Tesla because of his stupidity with Twitter & Cave rescue.

Until he does something that constitutes as a power grab I won’t infer. He is a billionaire if he wanted power why not buy out politicians? Get them to pass legislation for you. Why be at odds with them?

Why would he deal with politicians who are just as power mad as he is?
Musk doesn’t really reveal what his politics are, so that’s probably why he doesn’t align himself with either side, although he’s had plenty of tax payers money to help his projects.

Most of his career has been spent taking a lot of credit for, not only what he’s done himself, but for what others have done as well, so modesty is certainly not one of his strong points.

You are not making sense you say power mad yet not wanting to get involved with politics (which is the easiest route to power). In fact he has fallen foul of them. What does tax payers money have to do with anything? Facebook, Twitter (1.0), Amazon and google all enjoy getting tax payers money what is your point? Again in what way is this so called power hungry man try to get power? Buying a media company like old Amazon Jeff did? Is Jeff power hungry too?

He doesn’t want power in the political sense because politicians are generally unpopular and despised for being corrupt, self serving liars, who only have power when in government.

Musk is a narcissist who wants everything his own way and everyone telling him how great he is.
So he has a lot more influence as a celebrity billionaire, without all the baggage that goes with being in a political party.

Oh yeah those pesky word police asking people to stop using an incredibly offensive term. You’re a smart guy, come up with a more creative way to express yourself.
