Eddie Nketiah

£10-£15m for Nketiah is good business considering his game time over last few seasons. Get it done Arsenal. Think he would do well for CPFC.

I’d take Zouma here for £25m, I think he’s a pretty good defender, certainly better than Holding, Mari or Chambers

Both are pretty good moves for his development imo.

If I were to decide my destination for peak development ages, I would want more options.
I wouldn’t sign any Arsenal contract and won’t say yes to any transfer. It’s quite stupid in current times.

Sure, if he’s willing to waste another year being 3rd choice striker…

He can always ask for a loan move in January

Think we need to start making thing’s a little less comfortable around here for some of these players.
Probably starts with the contract we are giving some of these lads but if they are not part of the plans let it be known clearly.
Get them separated from the first team. Just feels like their a bit of edge in some being blunted by an comfortable option of hanging around.
Probably the 9 sub rule helps facilitate that.

Forgot he was still at the club tbh, can’t believe he isn’t sold and will just rot away in the reserves.

Had a very good preseason tbf. Think he would have been useful against Brentford if he wasn’t injured.

Eddie Nketiah appears unlikely to move on as he’s currently injured on the sidelines.

:laca:

As dumb as the club is with handling players that is some rotten luck.

Didn’t we have a bid in for him already when he wasn’t injured?

Things are starting to move along.

£15m plus add ons would be fair and a good deal for us…promising development and hope we can ge this deal done by next Tuesday.

£11.5m as the base fee for a player we have absolutely no use for and is out of contract in 10 months - good deal. Put a bow on that shit and move on.

£11.5m + sell on clause and first option works

11.5m plus add ons is fine by me. Decent negotiations. A sell on clause would be nice if possible.

Honestly, an incentive laden deal is fair. Eddie has proven almost nothing as a first team goal scorer, unless you want to start counting England U21s.
