Eddie Nketiah

I like Eddie. And I’m grateful we got the chance to see what he’s about.

But it is unlikely he will be good enough to be a starter for us.

Compared to say, Martinelli or Balogun, who we haven’t seen enough of.

Of course Arteta will play Eddie every game, and when Auba is back, Auba will play out wide for Eddie…
This is so stupid.

All I can think is positive performances from Willock, Nketiah and AMN increase their potential sale value.

Mind you, Emi Martinez stock was sky high this time last season. We sold him for relative peanuts. Don’t trust this club at all.

We sold Martinez for as much as we could tbh, £20m for a player of his standing at the time was good money

Wtf was with the celebration? Grab the ball and get to kickoff ASAP

The Martinez fee is in the top 10-15 fees all time for a goalkeeper.

What difference would it make? VAR will still spend 2 minutes checking if someone’s toenail is gaining an advantage.

Fair point lol, just didn’t like the look of it scraping a late draw against Fulham.

Yep, 15m upfront is shocking considering Ramsdale went for 18.5 upfront. along with other signings like Pickford/Kepa/Mendy/Patricio/Bravo all going initially for more we couldve done alot better.

Same window we paid off Mhki to go to Roma for free who has scored 9 assisted 8 and carried them early in the season. gave Sokratis money to leave for a free who is a starter at his club. no idea what was going on with us in the summer.

I thought he had really good performance for a guy who has barely seen any football as of late.
Great pressing and movement in and around the box.
His passing and finishing wasn’t as sharp but it was expected with the lack of games.

Anyway, I hope he finds a club that gives him more opportunities.

Be lucky if you get 10m out of him with how little Mikel has used him the past 6 months.

Demand 19m

Good marketing trick, that. £20m. Changing the first digit from a 2 to a 1, bargain  That’s why you get a lot .99p on prices, £10 for a pizza? No way, £9.99? Sure thing buddy.

Nah we tend to underestimate our assets. We xan easily get 20m for him.

We got Chambers for 18m after half a season with periodic appearances

We do the reverse, £40,000,001 - an offer more than £40m

Well Liverpool did get 20 million for that Brewster bloke that’s no good didn’t they ?

Exactly. English premium baby. Someone will be willing to gamble at £20M.

Had a great half season at Swansea to be fair.
Eddie has barely played the last 6 months and has 1 year left in his contract.
I doubt a side will take a gamble that big on Eddie. Arsenal is also in rush to get him out so they can bring others in. Wouldn’t be surprised if goes for ~10m.

Yeah I actually do tend to agree with that.

Liverpool got £20m for Dominic Solanke and they got similar for Rhian Brewster. £15m plus a few performance related adds to get the fee around the £25m range is the figure I had in mind.
