Eddie Nketiah

Don’t get excited. I’m quite skeptical of any players we want to dump being out the door before the Euros.

no expectation at all but I am still excited because this should be our last batch of players that we won’t get anything close to fair value.

after that, we should be able to get profit., especially from our first 15-16, if we sell.

Selling Nketiah and buying a striker who can give us practical bench cover gonna be one of our most important signings this window.

A lot of money.

Might as well call us Dusty Phone FC lol

Such bullshit

we would be lucky to get half of that.

I guess International Football has made it hard to farm transfer engagement that we’re now reaching for the bullshit news.

When you float a figure like that it can only mean that:

  1. You might get lucky enough to end up with a bit more than what you figure you’ll get
  2. You don’t really want to shift him.

Is this a joke?
50m?

Not funny.

50 million??

So maybe the plan is to set the asking price so high that even a lowball offer of 20 or 25 will not be far off what we would be willing to entertain.

That was my above point, Sunny.

or…
3. Our management are aware of several clubs who want him and we’re starting a bidding war on our terms.

Just because three people are interested in the clapped out hoover you put on gumtree, doesn’t mean you’re getting £200 for it.

No, but if your realistic expectation is that whatever you’re selling will find a buyer for £35, you stick a £50 price on it and haggle down.

Besides the reporting of transfer fees is always a load of bollocks. We may well have offered him to clubs for £25m up front with installments and add-ons that could reach £50m.

Great news, Marseille are loaded and have been happy to spend recently.

I guess Auba is definitely leaving.

Good move for Eddie to work with RDZ and play for a relatively big club abroad.

I do think Nketiah is capable of 15ish league goals in the PL if he is the main starter with 30+ league starts.

Hopefully somebody takes a proper punt on him. He’s a solid all round striker, just not CL or title contending quality.

Eddie to Marseille for Balogun money would be a win all round

Would Eddie really want to go there?
