Which other big clubs haven’t won it?
When you consider clubs like Porto, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Monaco have won it and we’ve only got to one final, it is amazing how poor our record has been in this competition.

Atletico spring to mind. Made 3 finals but lost all of them.

Can question their size in comparison to Arsenal but the pedigree of the team and manager means they should win it.

Man City are obvious candidates. Atletico? PSG?
Yeah I think City are out of the conversation for a while given the recency (is recency a word btw lol) of their success. I think given Arsenal’s standing as the third most successful club in English football history and having one of the largest fan bases… as well as being from the capital city of one of the worlds most prominent countries.
Without a doubt we’re still miles ahead of City in terms of being the biggest club not to win it

It’s hard to say. City and PSG are probably more valuable assets today. Historically Rangers are a huge club. Atletico a very big club. Dynamo Kiev are a big historic club. Obviously the Rome duo.
Hard to believe that this was 19 years ago. Everytime I watch it and I’ve watched it hundreds and hundreds of times over the years I’m still in absolute awe of this genius of a footballer.
