What Moyes had him doing and what Arteta will have him doing and also help unlock within him are entirely different things.
I didn’t use to think much of Rice but I’ve seen genuine improvement in his play over the last few years notably on the ball and this is most likely organic because he plays under some truly trash coaches both for club and country.
With first rate coaching and proper talent around him his ceiling could potentially be truly exceptional IMO, projecting what he could be not just what he is currently definitely factored into the club soon breaking the PL transfer record for him

You’re literally ignoring the updates aren’t you? Headline fee is agreed, Rice has been given agreement to have a medical and has chosen his shirt number. Personal terms are agreed. Accountants and legal teams from both clubs just finalising the structure of payments. Now it’s the weekend when offices are shut, lawyers retreat to their country homes and accountants are doing whatever it is that accountants do at the weekend.
Why Brady by the way? Why not Sullivan? Why not one of the other directors?
