Wow, if this is true, and Ornstein is very reliable on Arsenal news, this is massive. Irrespective of what happens now, no one can question the ambition or desire at the club to get this deal done. A record transfer for a great player. Will be amazing if we can get this done over the next few days. Let’s just hope West Ham are sensible and accept this so we can move quickly to close a deal for the player.

couldn’t fucking question that at 80m in the first place. All the offers have been ridiculous so far and anyone saying we’re low balling or putting shit offers can do one.
Shit offers are 3m for Leno and 15m for Partey, not 80m for declan rice.

I’ve said it before - there’s a sadistic part of me that wants West Ham to reject the bid and proceed to get FUCK ALL for him next summer.
It would be utter madness for them to reject this bid now. Even if it is over 3-5 installments. Crazy money.

I agree but reality is lots of people did question us and accused us of lowballing West Ham. Defo can’t put this 3rd bid into this category.

all the bids Arsenal submitted were real bids. West Ham doesn’t have to tell Arsenal how much they want the fee to be. Even if there’s backchannels and informal discussions with intermediaries, nothing matters until the actual bid goes in. Idk why people think that a reported 90m bid is messing around. He’s not even worth that. The English tax has greatly inflated his value even if he’s got a lot of PL experience.
