Declan Rice (done and dusted)

Some might say, a third bid is imminent :trossard:

But, but, personal terms have been agreed

You can say with 100% certainty that we are closer to Declan Rice leaving West Ham and that some clubs are interested and one of them might be Arsenal. So, that’s us all up-to-date. Nighty night.

But the motherfucking structure of the deal hasn’t!

Guess it was quiet for a reason lol

If that’s the bid, we can beat that and we will then get the player. West Ham will want a resolution to this. Just need to be smart with our 3rd bid now.

If they accept that…

I was expecting a much higher bid tbh

we definitely can place a better bid than that.

I just hope they haven’t offered it all up front or something similarly difficult for us to match.

It definitely feels doable in terms of total figure.

Only worry for me is they must have had a word from Rice’s camp he is interested in the move.

Don’t think City will go into a bidding war by placing a 80+10 bid.
They are just testing the water and see if Arsenal will place a better one on table.

If we don’t respond with a better bid, they they will say thank you.
If we respond with a better bid, they will just back off, as Rice said we are his first choice.

The key is, their total is still 90m, not 95 or more.
Additional 5-10m to start with is not an issue for them. You think City can’t pay another several millions? Kidding.
They are just bidding 90m, so I think they are not that serious at all.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking as well. Generally you don’t bid without knowing the player is open to the move.

Told you all
City bound all the while .
Who would you rather sign for ?
A ready made trophy winning team with huge wages or a team who hasn’t worn the league for twenty years and pays ok wages where you’ll have to work hard ?

Another example of agents and players greed .
Would I sign him if I was Edu ?
No , look elsewhere and make a player and a player who wants to work hard .

Hopefully us stalling and not getting our bids in hasn’t cooled his interest and he still wants us more, assuming that report was even accurate in the first place.
