I think they’ll accept that bid from City, it has much more favourable terms than our most recent bid, plus any add-ons they tack on, likely have a +70% chance of actually happening.

Long story short: Rice prefers joining Arsenal still.
2 hours for it to be al dente lol. It takes forever to cook. But holy moly you will have steam for hours on end to to whatever activity you will like to do, be it physichal og mental.

for me it is all-in situation.
if City is determined to get Rice, doesn’t matter who bid first now and who bid second.
Make the requirement, 100m, or an amount that can tempt WH to re-consider the number of installments.
If City comes in and match, or make a better deal, just withdraw and get someone else.
AT LEAST, we maintain a good relationship with Rice (or could be WH) that we are serious bidder.
Someone just outbid us, that’s it.
Why play the wait game and wasting time here, I don’t know.
Or Rice is actually a smoke screen, and buy us time to get Kai, Timber, Lavia, or so??
