Head over to any Newcastle forum and look at how they speak about Tonali. They pretty much can’t believe a player of his calibre players for them and many accept him as their best player.
I’ve been religiously following his progress it’s ridiculous how good he is. Bruno suffered in the midfield without him because it restricted his game and forced him to play away from his strengths. Tonali opens that up for him.

In his first 18 months Bruno needed two of Willock, Joelinton and Longstaff to babysit him because he was a headless chicken.
We saw Bruno last season looking shit after Tonali’s suspension and as a result Newcastle falling out of Europe.
Tonali came back and Newcastle’s form picked up again.
What does that mean? How do you even quantify this type of thing? Going to some random forum? Is that what you do?
